When my ipod has it’s normal protective case on it (an ifrogz case), the device cannot even attach! The attachment plastic is a little too wide so the electronic parts cannot properly connect. For the $4 I paid for it, it’s not worth the return hassle but be warned! The nice part is that (hopefully) the other pieces will work with another ipod/USB chord, but I am disappointed that my all-in-one solution definitely is not that!

When the package arrived, the wall adapter was immediately tested. It sparked and died magnificently after about five seconds of functioning. However, after contacting the seller, I was quickly supplied with a new one that worked perfectly. So with one that failed and one that worked perfectly, I’m averaging the 1 and the 5 to make a 3.
