I have a HTC Desire now on 2.2 and its really good. Flash 10.1 is great go to a web page and click on the video and it plays like you are on a pc, in the page itself. (Iphone users don’t know what their missing) It has 720p video now (HD Video), wifi hotspot and is faster than 2.1 in this video. Move apps to SD card
Ahhh i hate these old presenters, i love my desire and its 99% perfect except for the annoying fact that even with the 2.2 update most apps still have to be saved to the tiny internal memory. Its way too quiet when playing music , about half as loud as an I Pod . has anyone found a way to fix this ?
sack the whole presenters, get a new producer
get younger presenters that know about tech, get non apple worshipers unlike the current one that love apple even though they get shafted by jobbs and apple
nuff said about a show sponsored by a shop ran by non tech savvy staff!
as for the rest of the show
jasons video wall is nothing new i have seen those on the net years ago, the same with suzies augmented reality. anyone can get that at home
also on the desire you can take the battery out!!!! it has Flash lite support with full an option. iphones face comms thingy is nothing new, old phones have had that ages.
its cheaper than iphone too, and google let you do anything you like with your phone unlike apple. htc have the evo out in the usa with 4G im sure its soon in the uk
the comparison on the new show though was so obviously apple fanboy biased as the idiots on gadget show always are!
john bently looked clumsy with his desire and motorola. the desire has a 5mp camera yet they compare the iphone to the motorolas 3mp camers. prats! they also have a fanboy test the apple.. duh what else is he gonna big up
bently uses the friends preview screen on the desire, uhm the desire has better twitter apps and many other options to uploads twitter or facebook with
i couldnt watch the rest of the show on tv after the stupidity of the iphone and android tests.
I have a Desire its a superb phone, i love it with so many apps for it too. The os is about to get an update too to Froyo with faster operation and 720 recording. i never need to use the optical tracker though but a great option. I also have an extended life battery which gives my phone 1 and a half days use with gprs and wifi etc.
Lol Gadget show. The one flaw of the Desire is that it is hard to view outside in direct sunlight, so you went and did the review outside?
