This product arrived quickly and in nice packaging. It appeared to provide improved battery life, but at the cost of a light weight slim phone. I mean this thing is monstrous. My phone felt three times as heavy and the case protrudes way out the back. It’s very awkward. That said, I think this might make a great backup battery to keep in your car or use for airplane flights, etc. But for every day use I just can’t recommend it.

I purchased this hoping to get battery performance as good as my old blackberry. This is not even close. It is better than the standard battery, but don’t get too far away from one of your chargers.

In the beginning this battery was great; I got at minimum two full days of use. I could do everything the incredible was ment to do that the stock battery didn’t allow for. However after about two months use as my everyday battery it has degraded to such a level that I just make it through one full day of use. At this point it is only marginally better than the stock battery and that one didn’t cost me $80.00 . I have a battery manager that displays the battery level out of 100% and as soon as the phone is unplugged the reading drops by nearly ten percent. In the beginning it would takehours to drop that much. I am very disappointed, buyer beware.

I got this battery on a Saturday and charged it per the instructions that were included. It took quite awhile, so I would recommend charging it overnight. After the light went green I turned the phone off, and the battery light turned amber, I charged it again until the light on the phone turned green. Some other sites recommended calibrating the battery which I won’t go over here, but you can google it. The end result is more than I could have hoped for. As of this review the phone has yet to die! It has been running for 50 hours and awake for 12! I consider myself a heavy user of the phone with email, texting, facebook, and an exchange account. To really push the limits of the battery I set all my accounts to update hourly including the infamous HTC Facebook App that is reported to be a battery hog. My job doesn’t allow me to be tied to a charger so battery life is really important. As far as cosmetics go, I really don’t care about the looks, it did add some weight and thickness to the phone, but the pros of an amazing battery well outweigh the cons of an extra 5 mm of thickness. For those that prefer a holster case the Seidio Clip Holster for non-cased phones is a perfect compliment to the added thickness. It is the only case that I know of that works with the extended battery cover.
Overall, for those that need days of battery life, or prefer not being tied down with wall chargers and car chargers this battery is the perfect solution.
