Question, I have an iphone 3g, i love it, but i have a chance to get a bold 9700, SO what should I do? keep the iphone or get the 9700?, if anyone could help, that would be great!
@Akyy1994 no cos if you did manage to turn it off you wouldnt be able to navigate..
cand the optical pad be turned off?

So i just brought my BB last week and after downloading desktop manager the lock button don’t work like before. Now when I press the lock button, it uses the keyboard lock it goes all black like standby. And when i press the standby button it does nothing?
Any way to change this back? I have it set for password lock when I holster it, but would like the lock button to do the same (as it used to).
I’m new at blackberry’s so i really hope someone can help me out (;

I was an iPhone 3G user before, I was considering getting the iPhone 3GS but considered the Bold 9700. From there, I can’t stop using my device. Its fast, really fast than the iPhone, easier to navigate, very intuitive, and very beautiful. Its sexy, and has an atiitude not like the iPhone.

hmm i think i MIGHT just want this phone! BUT i CAN NOT switch to t-mobile.
I’m a dedicated iPhone user.
And would prefer the iPhone over all.
But this phone is just different.
I think the 3GS and the 9700 cannot be compared.
They both have their unique things.
And after using the 9700 for a while I can tell that I like the phone too.
So I could surely recommend the 9700.
Plus the apps load much faster than on the iPhone, although the apps on the iPhone have more quantity.
So if you’re an app user go for iPhone, if you just like texting and AIM go fo 9700.
To the owners, is it really worth this phone? I have a 8520 and I’d like to know…thanks
exact same situation ive had all the iphones and just looking into this phone.
I dont know but youre not the only person on youtube that i’ve seen considering switching from a full touchscreen to blackberry. Just when you think the world is going all touchscreen you see many people now switching to BB. (from android too)
