@wankerka we dont need anti virus because n900 running in linux flatform and it is the safest , if you hear before that mac apple cant attack by a virus then it looks the same, unless some geek create a virus for n900, lol

@Domineering666 battery life last between 1-2 days depending on your usage. 1 day at least on full usage. Nexus one and n900 are both completely different OS so its down to your personal choice really.
For more info on battery consumption, check the comments here :)

    great tips, as always!

@LordRichardRahl in that case I would also change ur settings. If you have 3G on then go into settings then phone and change the setting to GSM mode only. Then select internet connections and ammend the settting for search interval and the connect automatically settings from there. That will solve the problem. Also running it on GSM mode will give you more battery life.

Fantastic! Now happily watching and implementing with my N900 in hand! Yes!

One question though, I don’t have any sort of data plan with my wireless provider at the moment, so I only ever want the device to access the web through WiFi (to avoid crazy charges). Any suggestions on how I might “turn off” accessing the web over the cellular network globally so I don’t do so accidentally? I’ve turned off network positing in GPS already. I’m sure I’ll have more questions as I explore :) Thanks!

  24. 360NextLevel says:
