@Elcentralen1 Yeah, I’ve tested it with iPhone 4 and it is faster for 1,5-2 sec. More than that: my friends told me that iOS is much faster in a system, but it is sooo slow! Opening of some simple apps goes for 3-6 seconds, when N8 do it for 1-2sec! And this apple-users just blind: they denial that Nokia open this apps faster, even when I show that!
iwe used my n8 for 9month now, and i can say its by far not a bad mobile altho you need to install opera asap, the original browser is a mess and slow. but once you get opera its faster then the iphone4. my mom and my sister got a iphone 4 each and opera hits the site a sec before iphone4 do. the only negative i got is its to slow in the menues not horrible slow but not fast enought. iphone feels so much more flued, but if you like a good camera 720p movies on a real screen and epic satnav go n8

BCM2727 Multimedia Chip is a 800Mhz Cortex A8 + VIDEOCORE III + IMG proc and DolbyDigital Sound.
And all of it connected to ARM11 with its 680Mhz, but everything hard is still on BCM2727.
Stop FAP on dual-core mobile, look at TEGRA II, with laggy phones and tablets. Some of them cant play even 720p correct. Less than 100 apps on Android M. use dual-core features.
@FUNCASTorg WTF 680mhz is not good many MANY phones have dual core or 800mhz+ and even 1ghz+ processors.

@FrostMourneCube Just open each one. It like a PC – you have to install the application to use it, than it appears in your apps menu
I transfered the games file from my com to N8. But how do I play the games? What I need to do? Cos it appears in the sms.

@FUNCASTorg and lastly, it has a 3D Graphics Broadcom BCM2727 GPU with HW Accelerator with OpenGL-ES 2.0 support in it, and Avatar still lags so badly and NFS still loads so slowly? well, that says something…..
@FUNCASTorg symbian^3 makes scrolling very well? i still remember the initial releases of symbian^3 doesn’t support kinetic scrolling at the homescreen and some hackers managed to solve the problem, and i remember that it doesn’t even have qwerty keyboard in portrait mode. (this are all regarding symbian^3, not anna, i know all of those probs have been solved in anna)
@FUNCASTorg “that give me 60Fps at system and lot of the apps” a lot of apps? the difference between number of apps for android and iOS are like heaven and hell.
“when people talk about specs, and forget about result.” specs doesnt mean everything, mind you. It all comes down to the OS and hardware, they have to work 2gether perfectly to produce optimum results, yes i agree the N8 has good specs, but the firmware (symbian) brings it downhill, makes the whole thing stupid, spoiled everything.
@FUNCASTorg every android device have laggs? are you nuts? thats what i think when i see a Symbian phone, now one symbian phone, INCLUDING ANNA, gives me the same fast and intuitive experience as Android, iOS and WP7, just because u keep buying low-end or refurbished android phones doesn’t mean it all laggs, are you sure you didn’t buy a china pirated android by accident? And mind you, even some android phones from China are now smoother than symbian too.
@jaychou1994 I use Symbian Anna man, It makes good user experience, very fast, smooth etc. You should compare the scrolling speed of N8 and some Desire Z for example. Android have no GPU-Acceleration in OS, when Symbian^3 make it very well, that give me 60Fps at system and lot of the apps, Android cant do that on same specs and even on dual-core TegraII, it is not smooth at all, every android-device have lags and it is stupid, when people talk about specs, and forget about result.
@FUNCASTorg i should say, the only great thing about the N8? is the camera, that’s all, but is the camera really that important? the 3GS takes pictures not as good as the N8′s but it produces decent pictures. All i hear N8 fanboys babbling about is only “camera camera camera and camera” nothing else? of course there’s nothing else. And i guess N8 users are really fond of eye-candy like aluminum and and what-nots like that. Does all those eye candy improve the user experience? no…
@FUNCASTorg who are you trying to fool by saying that the 3GS is more expensive then the N8? you can’t fool me man, i work as a phone dealer dude. Anyway, if it is really more expensive who cares? It’s in russia? who cares, i don’t live there, you from russia? I went to 5 different countries, HK, Japan, Australia, England, america, all of them are selling 3GS dirt cheap, much cheaper then the N8. And N8′s are really rare in America and HK, why? coz sales are bad that why.
@FUNCASTorg so what if it has lower graphics? as long as it runs smoothly and not LAGGY like the on the N8, it is more enjoyable, what is the point of a game with great graphics and other eye-candy like that is its laggy, and laggy=not enjoyable.
Some example, do you wanna play a laggy game of Crysis 2 or do you wanna play a smooth game of counter-strike? i think the answers pretty obvious….
@jaychou1994 Android version of this game for low-grade phones like Wildfire run this game with 4 times lover graphics (textures, polygons etc). 3Gs in Russia costs more than N8, BTW, and have much worse camera, screen, body (Aluminum vs Plastic) and more.
@FUNCASTorg when it has better specs, doesn’t mean it would run faster, this video proves it, look NFS shift take such a long time to load, NFS shift on my wildfire didn’t take that long to load, and avatar didn’t lagg that awfully much either. And look, the N8 has almost the same specs as an iPhone 3GS, both of them has 256mb ram. N8 has a 680mhz cpu and iPhone has 600mhz, but can u really fell 80mhz? And the 3GS is dirt cheap now, even cheaper then the N8, might as well get 3GS
