Here’s a first look at the Nokia Lumia 800. I’m here in London for Nokia World 2011. The Nokia Lumia 800 is one of the phones announced. It is currently Nokia’s hero phone. The Nokia features a 3.7 inch AMOLED ClearBlack curved display, a 1.4 GHz processor with hardware acceleration and a graphics processor. The Nokia Lumia 800 contains Carl Zeiss optics, HD video playback, 16GB of internal user memory and 25GB of free SkyDrive storage for storing images and music. The estimated retail price for the Nokia Lumia 800 will be approximately 420 EUR, excluding taxes and subsidies. It is expected in the next few weeks. More Nokia Lumia 800 videos to come. If the maps program is anything like Maps on S^3 you won’t be disappointed. In all seriousness I’ve used Google maps on an Android and Maps on my N8 and TRUST ME. Maps is on point in the States at least. Free turn by turn that works? really… free for life…? uh huh.

  11. Jeahavee says:

The thing is… I know people that have windows phones and they aren’t either happy or sad about it. It just works and they can do what they need to do with the phone. It makes sense for them to use WP7 because of all the pictures. It’s like a kids phone you know a picture book instead of pages of words with no pictures. You know you like pictures.

When does it come to the US?

Will the n9 review come soon? I think that meego is better than this, it’s just look simpler and quicker. In win phone everything is little mess up. Well, I haven’t tried either in my hands thought… It’s a little shame that either this or n9 hasn’t got a changeable battery or memorycard :( I don’t really need those things, but now it’s like iphone :D

@razorkenshin Hope so, especially in Asia. Currently, Bing maps really sucks as compared to Google Maps. If Nokia maps is still inferior as compared to Google’s, sorry Nokia. Is just not for me then.

  17. razorkenshin says:

@chmun77 the maps are actually better… nokia maps are nokia’s trump card in my opinion

  18. chmun77 says:

Guess Android is still my main choice. Feel too cripple with this phone. No front camera, no USB storage, no TV output. I bet the maps are not as good as Google Maps too.

  19. reevosss says:

    Why no front cam !!!
