Macworld SF 2003 part 1

If you could only ever see one Macworld keynote with Steve Jobs, this would be it. In the final half hour of this Macworld, Mr. Jobs was at the top of his game with the audience completely eating out of his hand. Apple had the technology introductions to back it up too: the world’s first 17in widescreen notebook, the first full featured 12in notebook, first ever introduction of 802.11g, first ever backlit keyboard, first introduction of firewire 800. With each introduction the audience goes crazy, and Steve continues to bring them out with perfect salesman timing. This segment begins right after he just got done introducing Keynote for the first time as well, and he gave everyone in the audience a free copy. They were primed. This 3 part video should serve instructionally for anyone who ever aspired to giving a great presentation. No doubt, Steve Jobs is the master at this, and as I said earlier, this may be his greatest Keynote ever. part 2: www.youtube.com part 3: www.youtube.com

I wish that apple would go back to the visionaries they were.
Like when everything that Apple sold was the best, now they’re just updating everything, they need a killer new product that allows them to enter a new market.

I think Apple also recognises this, and that’s why I think we’ll see the Apple tablet next year (January maybe).

your a typical PC user, using swearing & intimidation to get your point across, is that all you can do, because macs are better

  18. macnerd93 says:

hmm, the iPhone popular, the iPod is ultra popular, even Macs control 90% of computers on college campuses and computers which are over the 1,000 dollar range. Oh and Steve was right about the G5, it would have been a tremendous hit, it just had one fatal flaw, cooling issues, thats why they went intel, plus IBM who make PowerPC were making promises they just couldn’t keep. Like they told Apple they’d be at 3Ghz, they only made it to 2.7Ghz

  19. lspnet says:

visionaries? go fucking drown yourself you worthless braindead fuck.

he envisioned the the PowerPC G5 would rip apart x86. How the fuck did that work you brainless mac zealout fuckhead. get the fuck off this planet you shithead

And now Apple notebooks sales represent over 70% of their computer sales.

  25. mudkipNDS says:

Hardware and technically wise, Steve Jobs AND Apple are psychic visionaries. When the whole computer industry was finally starting to speed up with x86 (i.e. 32-bit), Apple went ahead with PowerPC, a 32-bit chip that had all the hardware mappings for the future 64-bit coming up. And don’t forget about Airport, because they basically kickstarted wireless with introducing it in notebooks and an affordable wireless Base Station, too.
