How well does the battery hold up on the hero? Once you close an app does it fully exit the program or does it leave it in a stand mode?
Upgrading from my treo 800w to this so This video series has really helped me to make a great informed decision. thanks.
Thinking of buying this phone. Can you sync your iTunes library to the Hero?

Yes, you are able to change the wallpaper.
So can you change the background? Can you change the blue screen to a picture or something?
I got the Hero, my brother has the Pre but he cant stand it… He especially cant stand it now lol….
if you are a wimo< lover this phone its not for you
also i would get the iphone except i hate att way too much to do that
what are your thoughts on the pre, because I am in a toss up whether I get the hero or the pre.
I hear that the camera and camcorder is horrible which is a big deal but still a nice feature, what do u think, and should i get it now or wait for the moment?
I’m really thinking about picking this phone up. I just freaking hate Sprint stores, they always seem to be out of any phones I’m looking for.

Wow thanks! The TP2 is a great device if you want to stick w/ WinMo, but if yea if you’re looking for something different, the Hero is def. the best Android phone so far. Sorry I can’t comment on Slingbox as I don’t have one. I do know that they have said they are working on an Android app, so I think you’ll see that dropping (hopefully) pretty soon.
Yea the lock screen part is pretty cool. You can also control the volume when the screen is completely off which is great for pocketing it. If you check our Hero Preview vid that we posted last week, I spent a good amount of time with the keyboard in both portrait and landscape modes. Hopefully that’ll give you a better idea of if you will like it. I myself never thought I could go all virtual keyboard, but the Hero’s KB has changed my mind bout that. I installed it on my myTouch too

I replied to this yesterday but apparently it didn’t post.. anyway.. this is great feedback. Keep in mind that we are an Android website, and while sometimes it’s hard to be completely un-biased when comparing to other platforms, we are definitely working on that.
I hear you though. I do have a few criticisms of the phone which are mostly h/w-related – like using the same CPU as previous models – but the extra RAM really improves performance. Spend some time w/ it and I think you’ll agree.
hey thanks for the great video i currently have a 3gs but im planning on switching to the hero because of the monthy bills… but one thing that i love about the iphone is how i can buy movies from the itunes app directly. is there any way of syncing this phone the same way through a diifferent itune type app?? thanks..
