HTC Imagio review – part 2 of 2

Part 2 of my HTC Imagio review, a slab-shaped multimedia smartphone with a built-in TV viewer that is being offered by Verizon. The Imagio runs Windows Mobile 6.5, one of the first devices to do so. Full review: www.mobileburn.com

As much as I dislike Windows, this looks like it has a lot of promise. But I’m also considering the Omnia 2 from Samsung. Which one should I get?

I really want this phone. Everything looks great but it could have been made a bit sleeker and lighter. The screen size is great but the colors look dull and awful! I saw the samsung moment and it looks better colorwise. You say the internet is slow and doesn’t support flash but your using Opera. Use Skyfire it supports Flash!

I just have a couple questions. First off how does the text messaging work on it? Is it closely related to the iphone and easy to use? Also how is the battery life? Does it last longer then a day depending on how much you surf the web? And one more, what is the retail price? I have the storm right now and HATE it and for christmas I’m going to get a new phone with out my plan being up so I’d need to pay retail.

Agreed..so far the CLIQ is my fave Android phone!! However I’m on sprint, so i’m satisfied with just envying the Cliq from a far..Touch Flo is beautiful, but i’ve been burned by Windows mobile for TOO long..sorry but NEVER again..

Oh, they are very easy to press, that’s why they are shaped that way. The problem is that the menu is hard to read. Consider that the menu is not in alphabetical order, and it is not even in lined up rows. Unless you already know where the icon you want is, it is near impossible to find in a reasonable amount of time.

    I meant to say “without”

I don’t understand why you don’t like the offset icons? To me they look like they’d be easy to press, with accidently pressing something else.

  17. mobileburn says:

I am still loving the CLIQ.
