Thanks for info! I’m going to buy this phone.. One of the best phones around

  5. tiagomenezzes says:

@wafcarl I cant understand, have you ever had any problems with HTC or your comments really only come out of ignorance?! I dont like iPhone devices but I dont post nonsense in their videos. Not because I dont have enough time to do it (like you appear to have) but because I couldnt care less about someone who is stupid enough to buy a device only based on its fashionable qualities. Yes, the Desire HD have a big screen, but I WANT A PHONE WITH SUCH SCREEN… Just like some people want iPads!

  6. tiagomenezzes says:

@lauris3722 My understanding is that the release date for all european countries is the same (even though I read somewhere that the phone is already available in the Netherlands). Amazon.co.uk puts the release date on the 15th November (and this is a date given to them by the supplier). So, I think the release date for Europe will be the 15th Nov. Would be nice to have some kind of confirmation from HTC though.

  7. lauris3722 says:

When it will be avaible for Europe?

  8. LogainUlver says:

@blugg4bug Take better care of your phone. I’ve had several phones without any camera lens cover, but I’ve never got it scratched unusable.

  9. 2OthCenturyFox says:

note how htc didnt spend the whole video length boasting on how it s a music player, video player and whatnot?

  10. dereknobuyuki says:

Phone looks nice and I hope all smartphones support DLNA in the near future
but wait…. if HTC advocating drinkings and driving?! :P

While driving and using their navigation, it can alert me to nearby pubs so I can grab a pint (then presumably continue onwards to my destination).

Something seems wrong here :P but nice phone nonetheless.

  11. blugg4bug says:

No camera lense cover. Just like my Nokia, 2 months later it’s scratched and unuseable

Okay okay okay, THIS IS THE NEW JESUS PHONE. IT WILL WALK ON YOUR WATER AND THEN TURN IT INTO WINE… And then you can take drunken pics, tag them and then upload them to facebook. Absolutely brilliant :p

I thought the HD2 was impressive (I own one), and I was looking at the HD7, but this… Wow. I’m now scheming on how to get enough money to buy it sim free. This phone’s like Neo, it’s THE ONE.

I don’t even have to say “thumbs up if you agree” because y’all know I speak the truth!

  30. reaver16 says:

Only simpletons own Apple made products…

  31. mdoubledbg says:

I have a Zune HD and everyday someone asks me what it is and everyday someone tells me they wished they would have known about them because they would have gotten one rather than an iPod Touch. I honestly hope no one converts because I enjoy this and the HD7 will let this continue

  32. mdoubledbg says:

@tech0StickyAsGlue For every great app on WP7, there aren’t any crappy ones. iOS4 is most definitely out of it’s league at this point. If we’re discussing the usefulness of the device, it’s not debatable about which OS is the best. The majority of companies, schools, and government organizations run on windows and WP7 comes with microsoft office. That in and of it self makes the phone more useful let alone the superior specs. If you seriously think IOS4 is better the word good is lost on you…

  33. bati555 says:

@moyisawesome display and the solid feel of the iphone 4 convinced me to buy it!

  34. bati555 says:

@jakeboi ican’t believe your comment got 30 thumbs up. WOW seriously people?
fucking idiots thumbing up for rebelious attitude.
I have an iphone4, and I am not a fanboy of apple whatsoever.
You can’t generalize that everyone who buys apple products are dumb.
I don’t even have twitter installed on my phone. i bought it because it is a gorgeous looking phone that just does what it’s supposed to(and more with jailbreak).

  35. minec123 says:

@AhmedBabarX Copied and pasted from wikipedia…. and your still wrong. The first smartphone was the IBM Simon made in 1992. Good try though.

  36. panoslondon1 says:

@eaturcrap I guess HTC knows better! otherwise why invest in a new OS?

  37. GOOB3000 says:

    @mm66ex NO

  38. klempie1980 says:

AAAAHAHAHA!!!! And the Apple and Android fanboys scatter like roaches when the light goes on!! Let me explain something clearly to you clowns. Yes, MS have “copied” the iPhone but are you retards? That’s like complaining that the Americans copied the Russians in putting a man in space. Technology will ALWAYS be replicated by competitors. What’s important is whether the “copier” can improve on the copied tech. And trust me, with Silverlight UI apps, MS is going to clean the floor with you knobs.

  39. CloneCoalition21 says:

I’ll stick Evo 4g cause once windows 7 is passe, there goes the phone.

  40. AhmedBabarX says:

@minec123 “In 1998, they started designing some of the world’s first touch and wireless handheld devices. The company has a rich heritage of many “firsts”, including creating the first Microsoft-powered smartphone (2002) and the first Microsoft 3G phone (2005).[5] Their first major product was made in 2000 and was one of the world’s first touch screen smartphones.”

  41. ts0cha0tik says:

@bnsDFerguson it may have a few people that think its interesting… even i used to be curious and wanted to give it a try but he is 100% correct… Windows Phone 7 has a long way to go before it can touch android or iOS

  42. ts0cha0tik says:

@lifeismusic07 yes i actually do… its called a HD2 and it has been hacked by android hacker called cotulla (@cotullacode on twitter) to run Windows Phone 7 AND android which i am currently running right now because windows phone 7 is a joke :) Don’t believe me? look up Windows Phone 7 HD2 cotulla on youtube…

BTW the HD7 has almost the same exact specs so the HD2 is more than capable to run WP7

So there you go… the HD7 is a epic fail…
    no more smart comments please…

  43. mm66ex says:

Question is: is it a 4G phone???

  44. Mikg29 says:

I dont know if anyone has bothered updating their Zune program yet, but theres more and more games and apps every day. check it out, cant wait till i get mine.

  45. tech0StickyAsGlue says:

@mdoubledbg Yeah the amount of apps may be irrelevant on its own, however the more apps there are the more profit the Market makes, therefore the more attention it attracts, for every 5 new poorly made android app there is a new great one so it still pays to have more apps. I don’t think IOS4 is good, however I think it is better than this, Android is by far the best Mobile OS. And it’s nothing to do with standards, it’s pure opinion about which is best, just so happens my opinion is right.

  46. Onman100 says:

    @ketmod this

  47. tech0StickyAsGlue says:

@BIGGGY305 How is the android UI just icons??? Have u even seen an android phone??

  49. bnsDFerguson says:

My brother thinks Windows Phone 7 will never make it in the market with Android and iPhone OS. I think someone is going to be proven oh so very wrong…

  50. smza24 says:
