where do I find the “update software” in blackberry desktop?
you can give me directions for the Mac or PC version for blackberry desktop, I have both.
I tried calling my phone company and they were no help, all they said was ” go on the website, youll find directions” which I didnt.

I’m a PC guy so here you go.
Go here to download the latest OS from your provider to your computer:
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
Double click the file to install it on your computer
Plug your phone into your computer
Open Desktop Manager 6.0
Click Device – Update my device
Check the box next to the OS you just installed
Click Install
The process can take up to an hour
