@darthkahn45 it is yes but the special forces u see in this show share 1 characteristic they do everything the british SAS only do certain operations and are trained for every environment yes but so are navy seals and Israeli commandos so u cnt really determine who will be on the show by just that alone the fact that the green berets navy seals and Israeli commandos are not only training constantly but are at war constantly no offense but Britain is not at war as much as the united states
@jojo51886 selection is done in places like the rainforest and the desert. They are trained to be able to withstand long term torture and the most brutal conditions for very long periods of time. That means their body must be trained way beyond that which a normal soldier would be able to withstand and this is supposed to be about surviving in intense situations isn’t it? Thats the whole point of selection.
@darthkahn45 just like MARINES we do sea invasions were the first to react to a crises were the first to meet the enemy but if the war bogs down were not trained for that type of fight so the army takes over and we support them we operate in small armies we give the army time to mobilize if the wars not over by the time they mobilize then the army is gonna be fighting it and like i said we will support them
@darthkahn45 they are elite but ur not getting the pic these elite soldiers navy seals Israeli commandos they do everything british SAS does not they do certain things but not everything the special forces in this show do everything there trained in every type of fight the SAS is not there trained in specific types of fights and operations and they stick to that.

Whoever the S.A.S are and whatever they do they are super soldiers, considering the training they go through deserve a spot in this.
When I think of super soldier I think of science fiction. Preternatural strength, heightened senses, enhanced agilities, endurance, reflexes and speed, high pain tolerance, hand to hand combat expert. I read and watch to many science fiction.
SAS are apart of the united kingdom special forces which means they arent a special forces unit that runs independent the the SAS is grouped with SBS (special boat service, SRR (special reconnaissance regiment, and the SFSG (special forces support group) there like marsoc apart of an organization that controls multiple special forces groups these special forces u see here are independent they dont run with other special forces.
Where’s the S.A.S.? Not complete without them!

There are minority super soldiers, but most of them can not perform as well in the extreme cold conditions (ice cold water). And that’s the main requirement for navy seals.

is anyone on here no one knows lol me i’m not i was just making a generalised opinion just because peoples oppinions are differant doesn’t allways mean either perspective is wrong they can both be correct.
p.s you don’t need to join the army to see death(The general of an army can never fullfill the roles of all his soldiers yet his knowledge of the battlefield and where to use these soldiers is greater than anyone else)

@Caspiir04 you can basically buy in most book stores. i would suggest going to amazon.com because some bookstores might not have it. its a best seller so i would be surprised if it wasnt in stock.
