   Sounds like a vacumn leak to me..loose vacumn hose near your intake manifold. Take a length of hose and put it to your ear while you move it around your intake manifold. You will hear the leak through the hose if there is a leak. It causes surging in your engine.

    i know that this is old and the cars fixed but one of the reasons could be the fuel air ratio cause i had a fuel air ratio problem in my 89 crx
