please
Cool ! This was awesome. Good job!
to be honest man… you much better going aftermarket… I ended up selling everything & going aftermarket for more functionality…
please, where did you purchase your tv in motion cable ??
Haha this is great. I’m a gadget freak, and I’m choosing my next car partly based on what in-car entertainment it offers. This little kit will allow me to possibly get an E46 and upgrade it so it offers the same kind of multimedia entertainment as a facelifted W220 S-Class.
damn… i want this..
Thanks for your reply.
Im’ not sure to understand exactly your installation.
I have already the video in motion cable.
But i can only input MONO sound in this cable. if i understand well, you input the DVD stereo sound in the DICE module ?
where do you plug the DICE module ?
in the AUX input of the radio module ?
Because i have a PRE 02 E46 car.
could you give me your msn id ? or yahoo id ? chatting would be easier ^^ if you accept. thanks anyway.regards
Thanks for your reply.
Actually i already have the video in motion cable, but this one provides a mono audio input…
currently, i can play dvd but with mono sound only.
As i’m about the install the full kit with MK4 nav + 16/9 screen + 16/9 TV, could i get a chance to play dvd in stereo ?
Kensou13… the stereo sound was obtained via the video in motion cable allowing me to use the source audio from another source input… So I was using the “Aux input” from the DICE module to obtain the stereo sound… So from the DVD player.. the audio out was ran into the DICE modue. The correct video in motion cable is the key…. I suggest searching e46fanatics forum for much more detail…
hi,
great video. i’m about to upgrade my 4:3 TV to 16:9 TV. i have already a dvd player. How can you get video/audio signal with a stereo sound ?
I’m currently getting only mono sound with 4:3.
Is there a stereo input for AUX channel of the TV module ?
very impressive demonstration. Makes me want the car purely for this.
If only it had a USB port for you to play music off of. My £80 sony headunit has it (many of them do nowadays), and its such a quick and easy way of transporting and listening to music
